Haas VF-2SS cutting demo

What 'Super Speed' actually looks like on the machine we run.

In this Haas Automation demo, the VF-2SS machines a run of aluminum brackets at production pace: a 12,000-RPM inline direct-drive spindle, 1,400 in/min rapids, and 2.2-second tool changes keep parts moving with minimal idle time, while minimum-quantity lubrication keeps the cutters slick on very little oil. It's the same model on our floor — the high-speed milling behind our short cycle times on small and mid-size parts.
